The main character in our story is Ward Kimball (1914–2002), who was one of the original cartoonists for Walt Disney. He was one of the people responsible for the new design of the Mickey mouse and drew for several Disney classics such as “Peter Pan”, “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs”, “Pinocchio” and “Fantasy”. He was the designer of characters like Pepe Grillo from “Pinocchio” and the mad hatter and cat from “Alice in Wonderland”. Kimball won an Oscar for his work as animation director in the short film “It’s Hard to Be a Bird.”

In July 1979, during a UFO congress organized by the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) in California, Ward Kimball confessed his passion for the extraterrestrial issue and related, before a surprised audience, the story of how the American government had approached Walt Disney to commission him to make a documentary about UFOs, so that Americans get used to extraterrestrial contact and the reality of the existence of extraterrestrial civilizations.

Kimball said that around 1955, the Air Force offered Disney access to military filming of UFOs, and the respective permission to include them in the documentary.
It should be noted that in January 1953, the CIA formed a panel called “The Robertson Panel” to handle the UFO issue. One of the panel’s recommendations was to use the Walt Disney cartoons as part of a mass education program with the aim of:
“Strip the UFO phenomenon of its special status and remove the aura of mystery it has acquired.” (Panel recommendations)
It was not uncommon for the Air Force to trust Walt Disney for such a sensitive subject as the Disney company had made more than seventy short films for the US government during World War II.
According to Kimball’s account, Disney accepted the offer from the Air Force and began working on the design of the movie, gathered its animators and asked them to start designing alien beings. Meanwhile, Walt Disney awaited delivery of the UFO military footage that the Air Force had promised.
Continuing with the story told by Kimball in 1979, after a few months of waiting, the Air Force contacted Disney to inform them that the project had been canceled and that the promised UFO footage would not be delivered.

In an interview with Stanton Friedman, a reputed researcher on the extraterrestrial subject, Kimball related that when he learned that they would not receive the UFO military footage, he himself spoke to an Air Force officer who stated the following:
“There really are tons of UFO footage, but no one will have access to it.”
Ward Kimball related to well-known UFO researcher Bruce Maccabee that when Disney was going to cancel the project, he found that its designers had already completed several animation sequences of different alien creatures. So, according to Kimball, Walt Disney decided to use the animations produced in a short documentary on the extraterrestrial theme. According to Kimball’s version, this documentary featured a granny reporting a UFO, an Air Force officer investigating the reports, and a boy who saw an alien come out of his telescope.
The documentary, approximately twenty minutes long, was never “officially” shown in public, but it was screened by Ward Kimball during his speech at the said UFO congress in July 1979. Subsequently, the documentary screened by Kimball was identified as the episode of the television series “Disney Mouse Factory” titled “Interplanetary Journey”, which aired in 1972, in which comedian Jonathan Winters dressed up as different alien creatures.
This does not disqualify Kimball’s testimony. The episode of “Disney Mouse Factory” projected by Kimball could have been made with the designs and sequences that the Disney team made for the documentary that the Air Force supposedly commissioned, in the 1950s, on the extraterrestrial theme.

The interesting thing is that in 1996, Ward Kimball presented another version of the facts about the supposed documentary about UFOs that Disney was going to make with the North American Air Force.

Kimball’s second version of the alien documentary

This story begins in the early 1950s.
At that time, Walt Disney appointed Ward Kimball as animation director for a series of short films for television that would be made under the supervision of the scientist and rocket engineer Wernher Von Braun (1912–1977), who at the time was in charge of the North American space program. The series was titled “The Land of Tomorrow” and was intended to sell the idea of ​​space exploration to the American public.
Forty-two million people watched, in March 1955, the first episode titled “Man in Space.” Then “The Man and the Moon” was released in December 1955, and “Mars and Beyond” in December 1957. Ward Kimball was so involved in this project that he appeared in front of cameras conducting some sequences. These three shows are responsible for popularizing the North American space exploration program, at a time when we had not even been able to put a rocket into Earth orbit. The Soviet Union would put its first satellite into orbit in 1957 (Sputnik I) and the Americans in 1958 (Explorer I).
The success of the programs produced by Walt Disney and Ward Kimball for the series “The Land of Tomorrow” was so great that the newspapers of the time suggested that the space program should be run by the Disney company.
In the final scene of the third episode titled “Mars and Beyond,” Ward Kimball incorporated three flying saucers that briefly crossed the screen. The technical consultants had made it clear that there should be no allusion to UFOs or flying saucers in any of the films, because that could affect the credibility of the arguments presented. In 1996, during an interview with E ticket magazine, Ward Kimball contradicted himself and recounted another version of the alleged extraterrestrial documentary that the US Air Force would have commissioned from Walt Disney.
“Even when I was doing the first television shows of the series” The Land of Tomorrow “, I already had the idea for the fourth episode, so at the end of the episode ‘Mars and beyond’ you see flying saucers taking off. According to this second version of Kimball, given the success of the first three episodes of the series “The Land of Tomorrow”, he himself decided to do a fourth episode about UFOs and for this he contacted the Air Force.
So was it Ward Kimball who approached the Air Force to look for military footage of UFOs? Or was it the Air Force who asked Walt Disney to make the documentary on the extraterrestrial theme?
It does not matter how it was, the truth is that the government had commissioned Disney to carry out this series on space exploration, and it was the government that would approve any important decision.

In the 1996 interview, Kimball also spoke of conversations with Air Force officers about UFO footage.
“They told us that they had thousands of meters of film of what they called ‘alien objects’ but that the material was classified. We ran into a brick wall made up of men in uniform. I told Walt Disney that it was not possible to get revealing UFO material and we both decided that that was the end. ”
In this 1996 interview, Kimball changed the version reported at the 1979 MUFON congress, according to which it was the American government that commissioned Disney to make a documentary about aliens. In this latest version, the project was conceived by Kimball himself with the approval of Walt Disney.
Did Kimball lie in 1979? We will never know.
If the 1996 version is true, and it was Kimball who proposed the making of the extraterrestrial documentary, it is worth asking why in 1979, in front of hundreds of experts on the extraterrestrial subject, Kimball was going to give the story credit to Walt Disney?
If Kimball had come forward to reveal the story of the documentary about aliens, why lie and say that it was the Air Force that contacted Disney?
Also, in 1979, Walt Disney had been dead for thirteen years.
It seems then that the 1979 version is the true one and that for some type of pressure or unknown reason, Kimball decided to deny it in the 1996 interview.

Regardless of speculation, two things are certain:
There is a common element in the declarations of 1979 and 1996: the United States Air Force recognizes the existence of military film material of UFOs and alien objects.
Disney worked closely with Von Braun, one of the most brilliant and obscure scientists of our time, a forerunner of nuclear missiles and an inventor of space rockets. Despite all these events and despite the fact that the American government had already secretly formed the “Blue Book” project in order to study these phenomena, for the American public the UFO / extraterrestrial theme belonged to science fiction and those who they took it seriously they were ridiculed.
In a note published in 1967, Clarence Greene, main producer of the film “U.F.O”, recounts how he came up with the idea of ​​making the documentary about the UFO phenomenon:
“Although the documentary U.F.O. It did not go into production until May 1954, it can be said that the idea was conceived one night in August 1952. I was in the patio of my house when my friend warned me about a strange object in the sky. Although it was unlike anything I’d seen before, it had the shape and appearance of a sphere of light. Driven by the experience, Clarence Greene began collecting testimonies from people who had observed UFOs. He interviewed scientists, Air Force personnel, and even police and commercial aviation pilots. This is how Greene came to contact a select group of military and government officials who were directly related to the most important events of the UFO / extraterrestrial phenomenon that occurred during those years.

Selfless military collaboration?

According to the testimony of producer Clarence Greene, among the military who collaborated directly with his documentary were: Captain Edward Ruppelt (none other than the first head of the “Blue Book” project formed for the study of UFOs), Albert M.Chop (Pentagon press specialist for UFO cases), Dewey J. Fournet (Air Force Officer in charge of monitoring the “Blue Book” project and the Pentagon’s investigations into UFOs) and Delbert C. Newhouse (US Navy photographer who had filmed several unidentified flying objects).
In addition, the documentary also had the collaboration of commercial aviation pilot Willis Sperry, who had seen a UFO during one of his flights, and Nicholas Mariana, a businessman from Utah who had also photographed UFOs.

Clarence Greene tells us the importance of the testimonies that appear in the documentary:

I listened to Swanson as he told me about the UFO appearances on radars. The scene of UFOs that appeared on radar flying over Washington D.C. and which were later seen by the interceptor jet pilots was recreated for the film. Although it is a fictional sequence, Albert Chop defined down to the smallest detail with producer Clarence Greene and director Winston Jones so that the scene reflected exactly what he experienced in July 1952.

Prelude to an official revelation?

U.F.O was the first full-length documentary made by a major film company such as United Artists on the subject of extraterrestrial, “flying saucers” and UFOs. UFOs from Montana and Utah

The producers of the documentary “U.F.O.”, Clarence Greene and Russell Rouse, obtained two important filming of UFOs that, apparently, were declassified especially for this documentary. The documentary states that the Utah film was studied by the Photographic Reconnaissance Laboratory, the Patterson Air Force Base and the Photographic Interpretation Center of the US Navy. Different studies concluded that objects produced their own light instead of reflecting it, that all objects were the same size and circular shape, that the color of the objects was light blue, that the speed was 326 miles per hour, and that They weren’t balloons, birds, or planes.

Clarence Greene tells us his impressions on these two films:
“I had the two films, the Montana and Utah films, analyzed by scientists and film experts. The result of these studies was that the objects were not birds, nor balloons, nor airplanes. Author David Jacobs, in his well-known book, “UFO, Controversy in America,” tells us that the Air Force prepared a special team to counter possible panic and collective hysteria that the documentary “U.F.O.” could cause in the American public. According to Jacobs, the Air Force put in place a contingency plan under the direction of the famous UFO debunker and fourth chief of the “Blue Book” project, Captain George T. Gregory.
Gregory had a record of all the criticism and publicity about the documentary, and underlined every statement that could bring trouble for the Air Force or generate interest in UFOs. The story behind the production of this film seems to hide a veiled attempt by the US government to reveal the truth about extraterrestrial contact.
Back then, due to the controversy surrounding the UFO issue, having such a team of advisers was unimaginable. The open attitude of these military personnel could be interpreted as a very discreet attempt to reveal that this phenomenon was real and of utmost importance to the government.
You don’t have to be too suspicious to ask yourself why the Air Force would collaborate with the documentary with advisers and perhaps confidential filming of UFOs and at the same time organize a contingency campaign in the face of the possible panic that the documentary could create?
Had the extraterrestrial issue divided the military organization?
What is evident is that the US Air Force, for one reason or another, was really concerned about the UFO / extraterrestrial issue. Twenty years later

In the 1970s, renowned UFO researcher Robert Barrow contacted Albert Chop to collect his impressions of the documentary. According to Chop, one of the objectives of the documentary was to get the scientific community interested in the UFO / extraterrestrial topic:

“Rusell Rousse and Clarence Greene convinced me, what they wanted was to make an objective documentary that could provide information to the general public. At some point, during the first five months of my mission, (probably in early 1952) I became convinced that the subject deserved to be treated more seriously. For producer Clarence Greene, unidentified flying objects are an undeniable reality:

Regardless of the veracity that today we can grant to the UFO filming of Montana and Utah that appear at the end of the documentary “UFO”, we are facing the exceptional testimony of a time when the majority of North American government agencies ( and from other countries) analyzed and studied the UFO phenomenon. At the time, Robert Emenegger was creative director of the Gray Advertising advertising company, known for having worked for the Nixon administration and for the Bank of America. In the documentary script, Emenegger had included the sequence of the alleged alien landing at Holloman Air Force Base in 1971, which had been mentioned by Paul Shartle. According to Emenegger’s testimony, none of those present at those meetings flinched at this issue.

Authorities promised to deliver the following to producers: 800 feet of film filming a meeting between the occupants of an alien spacecraft and US officials at Holloman Air Force Base in 1971, other UFO footage, and photos of UFOs. taken by NASA astronauts in space.
What’s more, in an interview conducted for a History Channel special, producer Emenegger related that he met George Weinbrenner in his Wright Patterson office to ask him about filming the alien landing at Holloman Base. Despite everything that happened, Emenegger still could not believe that this filming was a reality. Instead of answering, Weinbrenner handed him an open book that read “For my great friend Georges Weinbrenner, by Allen Hynek”. The book was about UFOs.
Trying to confirm the alien landing in Holloman, Emenegger went to the office of his friend Bob Haldeman in the White House, President Nixon’s chief of staff, and asked him the same question. Haldeman’s response was clear: “Well, I’ve heard something, but I don’t know.”
Robert Emenegger did not believe in the existence of extraterrestrial beings prior to this experience, but what he saw and experienced during these meetings changed his point of view radically.

Damn Watergate!

While they waited for the delivery of the valuable filming of the Holloman Air Base, Emenegger and Sandler continued with the making of the documentary. After a long wait, Colonel Coleman informed them that the filming of the 1971 alien landing in Holloman would not be released because the timing was politically inappropriate due to the Watergate scandal.

Despite all this, the documentary by Emenegger and Sandler was released in 1974 under the name “UFOS, past, present and future”.
The producers decided to keep the 1971 alien landing sequence in the documentary, but were unable to include it as a confirmed fact. They presented it, in a very cunning way, as something that could happen in the future and perhaps had already happened in the past. To illustrate it they used a series of drawings.

A revelation in drawings?

Given how unusual it is to find a sequence like this in a documentary that somehow had the approval of the US Air Force, we believe it necessary to transcribe the full text of it:
(This is how the host of the documentary, Rod Sterling, introduces the sequence.) “It is evident that if other beings, more advanced than us, live in other sectors of the universe, it is very likely that that day would come, that moment in the time in which an official contact is made. Let’s look at an incident that could happen in the future or that perhaps has already happened. The premise is that a contact between extraterrestrial beings and representatives of the North American Air Force takes place at Holloman Air Base, in the desert of New Mexico. ”

It is very strange that the sequence of the alien landing is so detailed that even the nose, skin color, and eyes of the alien visitors are described.

What was given to the producers for the documentary was military training material. Some investigators contend that someone infiltrated the actual alien landing at Holloman Base twelve seconds into the military training videos delivered to the producers.
Those twelve seconds, which allegedly contain actual footage of the alien landing at Holloman Air Force Base in 1971, were included by the producers in the documentary, without knowing their supposed true value. (See photograph below). The truth is that the source of this information is not known, so it is better to keep it on the ground of the anecdotal. Some researchers argue that the flying disc in the video is a Moller XM-2, an experimental device developed by the US Air Force.

The scientist behind the documentary

The documentary was narrated by the famous television presenter Rod Serling and the renowned ufologist Jacques Vallee. By then Jacques Vallee had published books such as “Anatomy of a Phenomenon: Unidentified Objects in Space, a Scientific Study” and “Passport to Magonia: From Folklore to Flying Saucers” and had a well-earned reputation as one of the few scientists who seriously studied the UFO / extraterrestrial phenomenon. It should be noted that Jacques Vallee was very involved in the creation of the documentary and probably would not have agreed to carry out the landing sequence at Holloman Base unless this event had some truth.
A little detail before finishing telling the facts …
In 1988, during a television program titled “UFO coverup Live,” Paul Shartle, the audiovisual director at Holloman Base, claimed that the filming of the alien landing existed because he had seen it himself.
Now, after such a surprising story like this, you need to ask yourself a few questions.
Why would an Air Force employee, like Shartle, dare say he saw the Holloman filming if it really doesn’t exist? Why would the film’s producers include the detailed sequence of the alien landing at Holloman AFB if ​​this event did not happen? For what purpose would they have invented it?
Personally, I find it very strange that details such as the number of cameras that filmed the event, the air base where the event took place, the amount of film that each of these cameras filmed, the number of officers have been included in the landing sequence who received the aliens, the office where the conversations took place, and even a description of their appearance.

It is possible that this has been the story of a power struggle within the Air Force and the US government. Perhaps Colonel Coleman and Commander Weinbrenner intended to reveal the truth about this incident, but not everyone thought so.

Those who knew that the producers of the documentary “UFOS, Past, Present, and Future” had been in contact with military and Pentagon officials, might have assumed that the conditional but detailed form used to present the sequence of the alien landing was a message not Air Force officer acknowledging the veracity of the alien landing that occurred at Holloman in 1971.

HBO Alien Documentary

In the early 1980s, Linda Moulton Howe made a documentary investigating a series of mysterious cattle mutilations that occurred in the early 1980s. The documentary entitled “Strange Harvest” won a regional Emmy award in 1981 and presented the phenomenon of cattle mutilations as a real and inexplicable fact.
In 1983, as a result of the success of the documentary “Strange Harvest”, the television company HBO contacted Linda Howe to make a new documentary totally dedicated to the extraterrestrial theme. The tentative title for this documentary was “UFOs, the Alien Factor.”
In an interview with journalist Alejandro Rojas, Linda Howe related that while conducting the investigation for this new documentary, she was contacted by Peter Gersten, who told her that she had confidential information about an alleged alien landing at Ellsworth Air Force Base in Dakota del South, USA At the time, Gersten was the attorney for the Center for UFO Secrecy, a group that had submitted to the government several official requests for declassification of documents related to the UFO / alien phenomenon.

It’s worth mentioning that Ellsworth Air Force Base has at least one UFO-related incident in its history. In August 1953, a radar operator reported a UFO 10 miles from Ellsworth Base. The report was written by Captain Edward Ruppelt, first director of the “Blue Book” project, and was included in the document. According to Ruppelt, the luminous object was chased by an F-84 jet that had to return to the base because after having traveled more than 150 kilometers to the north, it ran the risk of running out of fuel. A veteran WWII pilot who was nearby listened to the radio conversations and asked permission to approach the UFO with his jet because he wanted to see the flying saucer. Permission was granted and the war veteran approached the UFO. When it was less than five kilometers from the UFO, it accelerated and disappeared on the horizon.

Let’s go back to 1983 and the HBO and Linda Howe extraterrestrial documentary.
Peter Gersten put Linda Howe in touch with an Air Force Special Investigations Section (AFOSI) officer named Richard Doty, who Gersten said could provide him with the names of witnesses to this event.
Additionally, Gersten related that the aliens involved in this landing had blue eyes and blonde hair, and that during the landing there was a problem. A security guard made the mistake of drawing his weapon and in response was struck by lightning from the alien spacecraft that left a slight burn on his hand. Gersten showed Howe the correspondence he had had with Officer Doty about this incident.

Based on how Howe related to journalist Alejandro Rojas, she believed the meeting would not last more than fifteen minutes because all she needed were the names of the witnesses to the alien landing. Linda did not imagine what awaited her at that meeting.
Doty took her to an office inside Kirkland Base. Once there, he handed him a manila envelope and told him that his superiors wanted him to read the document inside the envelope but that he could not take it or take notes.
In addition, Doty asked Howe to sit in a chair in the center of the room to read the document. Howe believes that chair was specially conditioned so he could film it while reading.
The title of the document was as follows: “Report to the President of the United States of America on the subject of unidentified air vehicles.”
According to Howe’s testimony, the front page referred to UFO study projects leading up to the famous “Blue Book,” specifically the “Sign” and “Grudge” projects, the CIA’s Robertson panel, and the case. from pilot Thomas Mantell, who allegedly died in a plane crash while chasing a UFO.
The second page covered the recovery of several unidentified flying vehicles: one in Aztec, New Mexico, and two in Roswell, New Mexico: one in 1947 and one in 1949. According to the document, in the second Roswell crash , Air Force authorities captured a living extraterrestrial who was taken to the Los Alamos facilities. The creature, able to communicate telepathically, died of unknown causes in 1952.

According to Officer Doty, an extraterrestrial being remained sheltered and in captivity somewhere near the Los Alamos National Laboratory from 1947 to 1952.

The document also mentioned a race of aliens who had manipulated primate DNA to create homo sapiens and who had created a being to be sent to planet Earth to instruct homo sapiens in love and peace. Linda Howe immediately thought of Jesus, but the thought seemed so mind-boggling that it didn’t matter.
The last pages of the document mentioned other projects that Howe was unaware of. Of these names, Howe only remembers one accurately: the Garnet project, which had supposedly answered all the questions and mysteries about the evolution of homo sapiens on this planet. Howe remembered it because Garnet is the name of his birthstone.
When Howe finished reading the document, Doty put it away again and told him that for his documentary he could use images from Holloman Air Force Base that were related to aliens (probably the alien landing), but that the film would have to be edited within military installations because security restrictions would be established.
After the meeting, Linda Howe reached out to HBO producers to tell her the good news. The television channel gave such importance to the issue that an emergency meeting with HBO executives was scheduled for May 18, 1983.
To support his story, Howe asked Doty to produce an official document in which the government or the Air Force confirmed the permission to release the information contained in the document he had read and also confirmed the delivery of the filmic material from the landing. alien from Holloman Air Base.

Time passed and neither Doty nor the Air Force delivered the documents requested by the producer. Linda Howe had to attend the meeting with HBO executives without evidence to back up her story. The executives of the television channel told him that unless the president, or vice-president or the head of the government’s Cabinet confirmed this information, the documentary would not be financed. Linda Howe proposed to make the documentary they had planned before receiving the information from Richard Doty, but HBO’s response was the same.
Although the television network gave him six months to get some kind of official confirmation, the documentary was canceled because Linda Howe cannot get the necessary documentation.

The alien from Los Alamos

In the late 1980s, the government made another offer to producer Linda Howe. He was promised an interview with the officer who had lived, in the late 1950s, with the alien the government held captive in a house in Los Alamos.
If the interview is not completed, the government promised to give the producer Linda Howe a video of the alien while he was still alive. Linda recounts the episode in a 1989 interview.
“I was supposed to interview the Colonel, now I think he’s dead, that in the 1950s he was a captain, and that he was the one who rescued the body of a living alien from the second crash in Roswell and took it to Los Alamos. This captain cared for the alien for a few years, 24 hours a day, until the alien died on June 18, 1952 of unknown causes. ”
As in all previous cases, the government postponed the interview and withdrew the offer.

Years later, producer Linda Howe maintains that Richard Doty carried out a counterintelligence job to prevent her from making the documentary that HBO had initially commissioned her on the extraterrestrial issue because it could touch on some sensitive issues for the US government.

Richard Doty: The Exterminator of Investigators

Regardless of Linda Howe’s hypothesis, let’s see who Richard Doty is.
Richard Doty’s military record, which has been verified by several investigators, shows that in 1968 he entered the military service as an Air Force security police officer. Ten years later, in 1978, he began his service as a special agent in the Office of Special Investigations of the Air Force. From this position, Doty played an important role in various official deception and deception operations carried out in the field of the UFO / extraterrestrial phenomenon.
Richard Doty was so closely related to the UFO / alien theme that he collaborated as a writer on the book “The Dark World of UFOs.” In the first edition of the book, Doty confessed to having been present at the interrogation of an extraterrestrial being. Suspiciously, in the second edition he changed his version and maintained that he was not present but instead saw the video of the interrogation.
In the first edition of the same book, Doty appears as a co-author, and in the second, published in 2006, Doty appears as a guest writer. According to Robert M. Collins, the book’s lead author, Doty regretted having confessed the truth and decided to hide it by saying he had seen the video of the interrogation being an alien. For Collins, the fact that Doty withdrew his name as an author responds to an attempt to distance himself from the revelations and confidential documents he showed for the book.
Doty’s modus operandi was to approach investigators amicably and spread false information. The goal was to keep them away from any important information related to the UFO / alien phenomenon. If the false information was accepted by the investigator, Doty confused him and publicly discredited him.

That was what Richard Doty did with Paul Bennewitz, an electronics engineer from Albuquerque, New Mexico, who electronically filmed, photographed and intercepted a wave of intense UFO / extraterrestrial activity in New Mexico in the late 1970s.
Bennewitz was able to record a special form of electromagnetic signals that came from the Archuleta Plateau on the Apache Reservation in Jicarilla, near the town of Dulce in New Mexico. Based on the evidence collected, Bennewitz concluded that there was an extraterrestrial base hidden near the town of Dulce and that this base had an active role in the mutilations of cattle and human abductions that occurred in the area. For him, the electromagnetic signals he had managed to record came from UFOs flying in the vicinity of the Kirkland Base and the Manzano Nuclear Weapons Center.
These events went down in the history of the UFO / extraterrestrial phenomenon as the famous “Sweet Wars of 1979”.

A sweet extraterrestrial bitter taste

The photograph appearing above the lines (on the right side) was taken from a filming of a super 8 movie and presented by pilot John Lear in 2006. According to Lear, the photo belongs to the Bennewitz collection and shows the oldest Edwards then. showing Bennewitz a United States government ship that looks like a flying saucer. Edwards probably wanted to convince Bennewitz that the events he had reported were not of extraterrestrial but of military origin.
It is highly unlikely that the military has decided to reveal something as surprising to Bennewitz as the object in the photo above for nothing. Bennewitz had probably gotten too close to the truth and it took more than words to convince him.
In 1980 Bennewitz reported his findings to the Tucson Association for Aerial Phenomena, and no one took it seriously. However, at Kirkland Air Force Base they heard him and instructed him to report the case to Officer Richard Doty, who interviewed Bennewitz and wrote a report on his findings. From this moment on, Doty began transmitting all kinds of information to Bennewitz, directly and indirectly, with the aim of confusing him and leading him to develop a series of exaggerated conspiracy theories that would make him fall into ridicule and lead to dizzying paranoia. . . from which it would not escape.

On November 10, 1980, Doty held a meeting between Bennerwitz and the Kirkland base authorities for the former to present his case. Ten days later, Doty informed Bennewitz that the Air Force would not continue investigations.
Paul Bennewitz has gone down in the history of the UFO / extraterrestrial phenomenon as one of the victims most affected by the campaign of psychological manipulation and disinformation orchestrated by the US government against several researchers on the extraterrestrial subject. Richard Doty and his team successfully discredited Bennewitz and practically drove him crazy. Bennewitz developed overwhelming paranoia that ended up hospitalizing him in a psychiatric facility.
Most UFO / alien investigators argue that Bennewitz was too influenced by the disinformation campaign launched by Doty to be taken seriously. This is not the case with the respected exopolitical specialist Michael Salla, who has thoroughly investigated Bennewitz’s reports and has a different opinion:
“The testimonies analyzed in this report (on the Bennewitz case) persuasively point to the existence of the Sweet Base as a current / former underground base carried out jointly between the US government and foreigners, built with budget funds ‘dark’ operating / operating without congressional or executive oversight Testimonies support the view that the “Sweet Wars of 1979” involved an armed conflict between the US military, Sweet Base security personnel and the extraterrestrial races residing in military facilities. Everything indicates that the same happened with Linda Howe. We can assume that the document that Doty handed over to Linda Howe contained false or exaggerated information such as the story that Jesus was sent by aliens or the episode of the alien captured in the second Roswell crash.
It is not a coincidence that the well-known writer Whitley Strieber, author of the book that inspired the film on climate change “The day after tomorrow”, stated that in a meeting he had with military authorities, they told him, among other things, that the aliens had to do with Jesus and that they had the filming of an extraterrestrial being that had operated on the vocal cords in 1952.
We don’t know if Doty was behind this story because Whitley Strieber has not disclosed the name of the military involved.
On the other hand, the story told by Whitley is, in essence, the same one that appears in the document that Doty gave to Linda Howe, the information about Jesus and the captive alien is repeated.
What is not clear is what Doty managed to hide in both investigations? What had Bennerwitz and Howe found or were about to find? Why did Bennewitz go crazy? What had he discovered?

Cattle mutilation cases began in 1972 near Dulce in New Mexico. Also, between 1976 and 1979, the place in the United States with the most reports of cattle mutilations was El Dulce. Coincidentally or not, Linda Moulton Howe and Paul Bennewitz lived in New Mexico and had been investigating these cases before coming into contact with Air Force intelligence officer Richard Doty, who also worked in New Mexico, at Force Base. . For The Disclosers, it is clear that the United States government. United States I was not interested in the UFO / alien phenomenon due to a security issue. That could have been one of the reasons, but history seems to indicate that there were others, much darker.

Colonel Coleman return

In 1985, Colonel Coleman, (one of the main protagonists of the previous installment of this series) already retired from military life, contacted producer Robert Emenegger again with the same promise, the 1971 filming of the alien landing on Base Holloman. Coleman assured Emenegger that the government believed the time was right to make public a group of footage that would confirm the extraterrestrial presence on Earth.
Colonel Coleman explained to Emenegger that there was a condition for the government to turn over the footage. The documentary project had to count on the participation of the two greatest researchers on the extraterrestrial subject of that time: the renowned Jacques Vallee and Allen Hynek. The government needed these two authorities on the extraterrestrial issue to make the documentary more serious.
When Emenegger contacted Allen Hynek to convince him to participate in the documentary, the latter already knew of the existence of the alleged filming of the 1971 extraterrestrial landing at Holloman Air Base.

Two of Hynek’s friends, Brian and Tina Choate, had already seen this amazing footage and reported it to Hynek. The Choates, who were very active in the community of people related to the extraterrestrial issue, were contacted, in the early 1980s, by General Glenn E. Miller. He asked them if they wanted to see the footage of the alien landing at Holloman AFB, the Choates accepted, watched, and reported it to Allen Hynek.
Apparently, this was the intention of General Miller, to publicize the existence of this filming. Miller was known to have a strong affinity for the alien theme.
Investigators Allen Hynek and Jacques Vallee refused to participate in the documentary, because they believed that the government would not deliver any filming since this was a simple manipulation by the government to confuse the public and ridicule, once again, the extraterrestrial issue.
For both researchers, the government offer made no sense. If the government wanted to recognize the extraterrestrial presence on Earth, they could go directly to the National Academy of Sciences and make the announcement.
The offer was withdrawn.

A history that repeats

The three cases reviewed in this series have the same characteristics: a beginning that involves a promise of transcendental revelation and an end that does not convince anyone.
We can speculate that the reasons behind these disclosure promises removed from the table at the last minute are: that the government promised what it did not have to infiltrate its agents and obtain information on the extraterrestrial issue; or that government personnel and US military institutions were divided between those who supported the revelation and those who were against it; or that all of these attempts were part of a US government plan to hide the truth from extraterrestrial contact.

In recent decades, the US government has shown too much interest in the UFO / extraterrestrial issue. An interest that has led them to carry out complicated psychological manipulation and disinformation operations with the aim of discrediting investigators.
For The Disclosers, this series of actions by the US government is the most serious evidence that the truth about extraterrestrial contact has been hidden from us. No one performs distraction operations when there is nothing to hide.
If anything is clear, it is that the US government has made every effort to subject the truth on the UFO / extraterrestrial issue to a process of relativization by confusion. The facts are confirmed, denied and reconfirmed so many times that the truth becomes invisible and ends up disappearing.
One last piece of information, too relevant to pass up, we all remember Steven Spielberg’s spectacular movie titled “Close Encounters of the Third Kind” but very few people know that prior to the film’s release, NASA sent a confidential twenty-page report to Steven. Spielberg making clear what should and should not be included in the film. This demonstrates an unusual degree of government interest in how aliens and government officials should be represented.
For now, the truth still seems unreachable but not far …
