UFO observed by airline pilots over the North Sea June 8, 1988
Pablo Puga is a veteran Spanish pilot with an excellent professional career in civil aviation flying. In an interview conducted for Eclecticos Worldwide he reveals that he has had several UFO observations during some flights, both night and day. One of these UFO observations stands out for its uniqueness. I have contacted Mr. Pablo Puga and he has told me the incident in great detail. Interview with Pablo Puga

“Please tell us something “interesting” that has happened to you with all your experience… some anecdote.”
Pablo Puga:
“I can tell you what I had to tell in Cuarto Milenio, that they called me to go and I didn’t want to go, but the program was made.
I saw a UFO. I was second pilot of an Air Europa Boeing 757 and on a flight that was on June 8, 1988, we were doing a Las Palmas Oslo flight and when we were going… when we had already… well, I think it would have been four hours of flight or five; We were in the North Sea, I was in the cabin, I was sitting on the right, because of course, the co-pilot and the captain, I was looking out my window to the right of the cabin and I saw a little dot on the horizon, it looked very good. We were flying over an overcast cloud layer. Overcast means that everything is covered, because I have felt and heard a colleague who has said that at that level there are no clouds, and of course to that… of course I couldn’t refute it because I didn’t go. Can I explain?… we were on top of clouds…”

“Pablo, sorry for interrupting you, and why do you think that colleague…?”
Pablo Puga:
“No…no”.

“Yes, I think so, I think it’s a bit due to lack of knowledge, because military pilots don’t fly a lot in Spain and such… and this guy just said it… I think it was a lapse. Why say that there are no clouds? at forty-one thousand feet which was level four one zero, then I was looking to my side and I saw a little point in the distance… in the distance and I thought it was a… something that had the crystal, which sometimes the crystals have a speck or anything, or it could be on the inside that has a small crack, which has nothing to do with it, which is within the rules. And at that moment, when I was looking, that little dot came at incredible speed and stopped in front of us.”

“In front of the plane?”
Pablo Puga:
“In front of us from the plane, about a few miles, because we were flying at 900 kilometers per hour, and he came and stood next to the commander. I mean the only ones who saw him were the commander and me. The passengers did not see nothing. He didn’t see anything because… When I say he stopped on the left, he stopped on my left. Then, he stopped for seconds. And when he stopped, the commander told me: Look! Look! Pablo. He let out two spurts, two spurts, and it left at the same speed it came, it went to the same place it came and disappeared.

“It had the shape of a boomerang, because this was daytime. There was good visibility. It was daytime with the sun and we were just on top of a layer of cloud. It must have been 11 or 12.

“No, it was a dark metallic boomerang, more or less gray metallic. “It wasn’t very big, right? It was… Man, I don’t know, it could have… of course, it’s very difficult to give a length up there, you know? Because the depth, the distances… But it would be, like these saucers that They appear in the drawings, some of which have already been photographed, well I don’t know, what could it be? 10, 15, 20 meters long? I don’t know, more or less. I didn’t see the depth, the depth, whatever. Because it was like a boomerang, it didn’t look completely round. It could also be because of the angle we had of vision. “And this is not seen on the radar? From anywhere?”.
Pablo Puga:

“And Pablo, before that, did you believe in the UFO phenomenon?
Pablo Puga:
“Yes, I have always believed. I have believed because it is logical. It is logical”

Pablo Puga:
“No, I was investigating and I was asking, even friends of mine who came from the exercise. I have a great friend of mine, who was also a commander, who had flown the vertical takeoff Harrier and he told me -No, Pablo, at that level there is no … They really said that well there in the Fourth Millennium… He says — At that level nothing stops. Nothing stops, there is no plane that stops. It’s impossible — And besides, it wasn’t a plane. No It was a shape… Ugh…, It didn’t look like a plane. “And you didn’t have a cell phone or a camera? Was there no type of testimony?”
Pablo Puga:

Pablo Puga:
“No, I wasn’t afraid at all, because you don’t know what it is and he left and no hostile action was seen… I mean, I wasn’t afraid at all, we stayed cold”.
Luis Vidal:
“You didn’t have time to react…?”.
Pablo Puga:
“Yes… what is this…? we reacted later… then a day on the beach talking… do you remember… yes and this…”.

“Hasn’t that made you more curious… to go searching? What is this? Why is this happening?”.
Pablo Puga:
“Well yes… I’ve already told you. But the thing about UFOs is something that is talked about continuously. Now it is talked about every day. In ’88 there was no talk… you didn’t hear about UFOs., there was the one from Valencia where a plane landed… now I don’t remember if it was from TAE or I don’t know who, that was in seventy-something… but nothing more…”.
Ioni VO:
“And among your… companions… when you talk…?”
Pablo Puga:
“No, no, I haven’t even commented on it… I don’t think I have commented on it. In my company there were pilots, I’m talking about Air Europa… I worked at Air Europa for twenty-five years, I was second for two and commander for twenty-three, I mean, we have never talked about this topic and it is not something you can talk about because many people don’t even believe it, they can tell you -this guy is making it up-. No, we don’t talk about it.”
Luis Vidal:
“You have to be very ignorant to criticize what is unknown, you can have some experiences and a person because they have never had a sighting or because they simply do not believe, they cannot call you sensationalist or conspiratorial.”
Pablo Puga:
“I think it is difficult to see a sighting, because I have only seen that one and I am talking to you about Barcelona… I don’t know… I wouldn’t know how to tell you about Barcelona. But of course it was a light but in a way… as if it were a bus… it was going like this… and it disappeared full of light”.
Luis Vidal:
“Can it be considered that at that time when you were commander it was a quote-unquote taboo subject?”.
Pablo Puga:
“Yes, because I’m telling you that maybe this was in the year ninety-one, ninety-two, it’s not like it was taboo, but it’s difficult, sometimes we’ve been flying around Africa or we’ve made a flight… well we’ve made many flights… and you see a light that is moving but… who is going to say that that is a UFO? I have no idea, this is best seen by people who are on the ground, the movements it makes. Those abductions that have occurred, but It’s not easy to see, it’s not easy”.

Valencia: A UFO causes the emergency landing of a commercial plane
A plane flying the Palma — Las Palmas line was followed by an unidentified flying object, forcing the pilot to land in Manises.
(Chronicle of our correspondent in Palma de Mallorca, Carlos Garrido and of our correspondent in Valencia Joan Antonio Calabuig.) — A “super Caravelle” plane of the TAE airline was followed on Monday night by a UFO when it was carrying out the route from Palma de Mallorca to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, at the approximate height of Ibiza. As a result of the persistent presence of the UFO, the pilot requested land at the Valencian airport of Manises, where the plane landed without major incidents.
The super-Caravelle took off from Son-Sanjuán around 10:20 at night, following the flight from Salzburg, with 109 passengers on board and a crew of 6 people. Half an hour later, between Ibiza and Alicante, the crew observed that a strange and powerful luminosity followed the device, without any shape or object being visible apart from the intense light.
Landed
For the safety of the passage, and in compliance with the instructions issued for cases of this type, the commander Tejada in charge of the plane, quickly asked for a runway at the Manises airport. There they also detected the presence of an unidentified object, whose luminosity was also appreciated by several witnesses in the area, who claim to have seen the light descend as if it landed in an imprecise place.
The “super-Caravelle” landed around 11:50, and from this moment everything becomes the secret of the summary. Numerous interrogations have been carried out by representatives of the Spanish Air Forces to obtain information about the strange case. Both the passenger and the crew were transferred to hotels in the city, and the trip to Tenerife was not resumed until 2:00 p.m. today, Monday, although some of the travelers did not want to board the “Caravelle” again.
Two hours over Valencia
The UFO was visible from the Valencian airport for almost two hours, a fact confirmed by the head of the airport himself, the aeronautical engineer Miguel Morlán, who later and in the presence of the Minister of Transport and Communications, Mr. Sánchez Terán , detailed that the strange object was about 9,000 feet high. It has also been pointed out that the UFO was not detected directly from the Valencian airport because it lacked radar. What is not yet known is the official information from the military authorities, although it is clear that no “Mirage” fighter plane, one of those based in Manises, took off to intercept the UFO. On the other hand, upon learning of the event, supersonic “F-1” planes were ordered to take off from the Albacete base, but they did not have the opportunity to intervene as the UFO disappeared at high speed.
Ibiza Triangle
It so happens that in the area between Alicante and Ibiza other cases of appearances of mysterious objects have already been recorded, perhaps the most controversial episode of which was the one that occurred last summer when the crew of a boat buta — Nero claimed to have witnessed a “rain” of UFOs south of Formentera. All these sightings have given rise to talk in some circles of an “Ibiza Triangle”.
UFOs harass five commercial airliners

At the end of November 11, five unidentified flying objects “intercepted” many commercial airplanes over the skies of Catalonia, Valencia and the Balearic Islands, causing moments of uncertainty in the Barcelona control center. Indeed, two Iberia planes. another from Transeuropea, an air taxi and a British jet were “harassed” by as many green “balls”, causing fear in the respective passengers and crews. The events took place mainly over the Mediterranean, in Catalan, Valencian and Balearic areas.
According to eyewitness accounts, the strange object moved from the nose of the device to the tail and then “exploded into five other smaller balls.” One of these UFOs forced the pilot of the Barcelona-Asturias line to make a sharp dive in order to avoid an obvious collision. The UFO descended to the vicinity of one of the airport runways and, after a low flight, rose and disappeared at enormous speed.
It should be noted that this UFO “encounter” was recorded exactly one year after the Manises case, when a UFO forced a TAE plane to land at this base.
