MEMORIES OF JOSE ANTONIO GALÁN: FROM UFOS TO THE ROYAL HOUSE

José Antonio Galán is a veteran author in the art world. His works preside over churches, art rooms and even rooms of the Royal House. But in the ’60s and ’70s he was also a household name in the ufology community. A member of ADIASA, in his native Seville, he would go on to add to the assets of the CEI once settled in Barcelona. During those years he lived from the front line some of the most classic and relevant episodes in Spanish ufological history. He knew most of the investigators, witnesses, those involved, etc. But for several decades he distanced himself, at least actively, from ufology.
In February 2018, coinciding with the UFO surge caused by the Pentagon’s UAP revelations, he returned with his blog CaballodeTroy.medium.com, now a reference site. Not only because of the original content, the work of Galán, but because of the tireless work of compilation and translation that he carries out. In January 2023 he breaks his silence for the first time by granting an explosive interview to our colleague David Cuevas for his program DL File. Since then El Ojo Crítico has had the fortune of being able to publish some of his collaborations. Today, Begoña Rojo, subjects Galán to a “third degree” to recover his memories… http://elojocritico.info/memorias-jose-antonio-galan-de-los-ovnis-a-la-casa-real/

1.- I don’t know whether to say admirer, devotee or lover of the art of Salvador Dalí, whom you like to call “your teacher”, has had a great influence on your professional life. Your patrons for many years (and to whom you have dedicated a wonderful digital gallery-exhibition that must be visited no matter what, because it is amazing at: https://www.spatial.io/newest) Eleanor Reese Morse and Albert Reynolds Morse, They were friends of Dalí. Did you get to know him personally? Tell me some anecdotes about this topic. How did all this come about?

My relationship with the work of Salvador Dalí goes back to my childhood. In my house in Triana in Seville when I was a child (nine or ten years old) A two-story neighborhood house turns out that a neighbor, friend and professor of Fine Arts used to draw and paint in a large patio where, as a studio, he did his painting work. outdoor. I remember in those years looking at my neighbor for hours. A proposal from this teacher to my parents so that I could attend with him to teach two-hour morning classes at the “Reina Victoria” school. This is my beginning in Art. Many hours of learning drawing that was essential for Goldsmithing jobs, since mostly the students in these classes were looking for a job as goldsmiths.
Later, one of my Fine Arts teachers shows me photographs of two works by Salvador Dalí, one authentic and the other fake. The fake painting with perfect technique belongs to a painter who intends to sell his works in the US as authentic. I contacted an American collector and it was when I became friends with the Morse couple that they thanked me for such valuable information and so on until they died. Yes I knew them personally. Several of my works are in his private collection until I meet another collector and dealer who is the one who has distributed my work until 2004. By the way, Salvador Dalí was quite interested in everything related to the “Flying Saucers”.

2.- You have also painted, or for, a member of the Spanish Royal House. How do you achieve such resounding success professionally?

Well, I don’t know if you can call it a resounding success, but yes, I have painted several portraits of H.M. King Emeritus Juan Carlos. During my military service in the Staff of the Soria Regiment №9 in Seville I was only dedicated to painting several works of which I highlight two large canvases, an Inmaculada and a Santiago on horseback, as well as several with military themes for different rooms . Later, the secretary of the Royal Family (a good friend from those years) helped me create several works and portraits for private collections.

3.-Queen Sofía is a great lover of shamanism, ufology and the mysteries of the past, and His Majesty King Juan Carlos interceded in the declassification of UFOs… Have you ever commented on these topics?

I know from specialized journalists that this is the case. Private meetings of Queen Sofía in a palace in the San Bernardo area to have conversations about unidentified flying objects. Our dear friend Jiménez del Oso said that several times, I think it is also reflected by his son Fernando López del Oso in 2020 in his magnificent book ‘The Legacy of the Bear’. Manuel Carballal also has a lot of information about the UFO declassification of the Spanish Army, where the King Emeritus has exerted his influence. And of course Benítez once said about Queen Sofía: “She is a restless person, with a very open mind, extraordinarily intelligent. All these topics interest her and she wants to know more. From time to time we talk and I send her my books. Felipe VI took the book ‘Trojan Horse’ to Canada when he was studying”. Yes, I don’t think they are alien to UFO news. My modest participation in the making of portraits was only limited to the pictorial subject, both in letters, telegrams and other things only related to painting.

4.- In 1983, you literally walked E.T. through the streets of Sabadell. It was an exact replica of the E.T. From the movie that we all know, the only difference is that the original has four fingers and yours has 3. People were excited by the surprise… How did you come up with such a feat?

Initially, making a replica of ET emerged in the studios of Radio Sabadell of the SER network where we made the Espacio Infinito program. That day we touched on the topic of plagiarism by the designers of Steven Spielberg’s ET taken from the original by a Barcelona illustrator Joaquín Blázquez and his work Melvin. The station’s photographer told me — “José Antonio, you can make one just like it for your son and then you can leave it to me for my studio” and that’s how it was. The photographer’s idea was to place it at the entrance to the city of Sabadell next to a welcome sign, and later on Las Ramblas in front of the cinema where the film was premiering, many children took pictures with it. He was also exhibited in Sonimag. I admit that I am closer to Blázquez’s Melvin than to Spielberg’s ET.

5.- Before entering fully into the ufological topic, I want to ask you one more question about your work and it cannot be other than to know your opinion on Ai, which is one of the current topics we have at hand. You have been applying Artificial Intelligence to your work for quite some time with a large number of spectacular images created. How exactly do you use it? What do you consider to be the ethical limits of AI? And the responsibilities of the artist? How do you think this technology is going to change art?

First of all, I would like to recommend a page where creative artists reflect on our works created with Artificial Intelligence and the potential it has, as well as the ethical questions raised. It is a dilemma similar to that of photography in its beginnings, the page is: https://aiartists.org/
In my case, the combination of traditional art with the different programs of the thousands that exist, some I prefer to others. The incorporation of Ai to some Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or Adobe Express programs also makes the work easier. There are those who describe AI as “humanity’s most important invention” and others, such as Stephen Hawking and Elon Musk, call it one of the main threats to humanity.

Image: @galanvazquez

I usually use it mainly as I said before with various Adobe programs. The ethical limits in AI are applicable to any of the activities of human beings. Where is the limit? Do I have to condition my art to self-censorship? What is Art for me may not be Art for others. Technology has changed the perception of art culturally speaking for years. Part of my technique when making a design with Ai:
- I usually make a very quick (digital) pencil sketch on a white surface and then transfer it to a “prompt” which is an instruction, in text form. The rest depends on creativity when imagining with the text what you want to do, which allows Ai to work with the information that you have previously provided with a simple sketch, the essential thing is the components that you add to the “prompt”, since In an instant you can have several images that you then have to improve with Adobe design programs. The result depends on your creativity.

Image: @galanvazquez

I wanted to get the most out of the Ai with a complex “prompt” to see how far the intelligence of the Ai can go. Using the algorithms of Schabbath van Nes Ziegler’s mathematical equations for his TUM code and interacting with ChatGPT-4 forcing it to create a search code about his Theory of the Multidimensional Universe and the facial approximation of the most similar possible creatures of non-human origin to terrestrial humans. The result is that there are more than five hundred different races in our galaxy alone.
I wanted to make it more difficult for him with the following “prompt”: “Being of non-human origin, translucent skin, pleasant appearance, reading the book UAPs: THE SECRET by Manuel Carballal, cinematics, photo session, shot with a 25 mm lens, depth of field, tilt blur, shutter speed 1/1000, F/22, White balance, 32k, Super resolution, Pro Photo RGB, Medium back lighting, Backlight, Dramatic lighting, Incandescent, Soft lighting, Volumetric, Conte-Jour , Global illumination, Global illumination of the screen space.
The result was a face similar to the others, in this case the face was smiling showing its teeth. Disappointed at not seeing a book in the alien’s hands and thinking that it was more artificial than intelligent, until seeing his eyes, surprise! I observe the reflection of the title on the cover of the book in the lens of his eyes.

Image: @galanvazquez

6.- It’s a little scary. What do you think of who thinks that, not only AI but the entire mandatory digital implementation in our lives, is the best instrument of mass control and manipulation in history?

It is human to be afraid of what is unknown. The Ai cannot be an exception. Many have bet heavily on this technology and I seem to remember that last year companies and governments spent more than 500,000 million euros to implement Ai in 2023 alone. To give an example, MareNostrum5 that operates in Barcelona, according to what they tell us, their calculations They are used for research in artificial intelligence, the prediction of climate change and the development of cutting-edge materials, without taking into account the essentials such as Big Data, which is what feeds Artificial Intelligence. Processed data, our data, to learn from them. Someone said “We want machines that solve society’s problems and this is a very advanced machine”. More than two hundred million euros…, but how many people still have to ask the bank advisor, How do you get money? from the ATM machine. It terrifies me to think that we are the crew of Discovery and that we are in the hands of HAL 9000.

7.- And now, let’s get into ufology. You define yourself as a field researcher. How, when and why did you get started in ufology?

My interest in Ufology stems from contact with the books that my uncle had in his library, some caught my attention more than others and especially those nights on the roof of the house looking at the sky, accompanying him with his telescope. I remember that I was struck by the novel Childhood’s End that my uncle read a chapter to me almost every night, he translated it into Spanish (he had it in English) I think he always added more things from his imagination, it was very fun. My interest was also aroused by a TBO collection that he had, which I still have. Diego Valor gave it to me in its entirety when I made my first communion when I was seven years old. Later, a curiosity about his investigations and about all the casuistry of observations that occurred at the national level and especially in Andalusia. The neighborhood’s Public Library also contained several copies of Astronomy and UFO themes. From those years I remember a shocking radio serial titled “The Adventures of Peter Gay”, in which Rafael Taibo, with that impressive voice, narrated the adventures of an English engineer through the desert, “the pilgrims of Baalbek” in those years said that the Baalbek platform had been built by extraterrestrials for the landing of their ships. Basically those were my beginnings in Ufology, without counting in my youth with the friendship of some “traveling” companions with the same concerns.

8.- I don’t know if I’m right or wrong when I say that you have been dedicated to ufology for more than 50 years. It’s not that you have had contact with the “greats” in this field, it’s that you are one of them. You just have to go to your blog https://caballodetroy.medium.com/ and see the immense amount of articles, investigations, reports, documentation… it is infinite.

Thanks for the “big” thing but no. I’m just a curious person who has had good travel companions at one stage of my life. Yes, I am still interested after 58 years of researching what we can consider one of the greatest enigmas posed to the human race.

9.- At a certain point, you abandoned the UFO topic for many years, at least on a public level. But recently you have returned with a disconcerting energy, translating foreign or Spanish articles into English, rescuing historical archive material, collaborating in magazines like EOC… Why now?

No, I have never abandoned the UFO topic, it happens that sometimes I have become saturated, for example after so much time on the radio or when I have had other commitments. During my painting work for the main altar of San Roque I wanted to dedicate all my time to painting and well, you see that it was an allegory to the supposed extraterrestrial identity of the Archangels and angels — astronauts with autonomous flight units to move around. The same day that RTVE interviewed me in my studio, I proposed to the program director to visit Luis José Grifol in Montserrat. Also writing a script for a feature film to a certain extent also took me away a little from UFO news in those years. And it turns out not entirely because the film script was also about Ufology. The current resurgence of the whole issue of declassification of the Pentagon videos has revived that lethargy in some sectors and apparently interest in UAP continues to grow.

Property registration and film script. Image: @galanvazquez

10.- Out of curiosity, did the script materialize in a film?

No, at the moment it has not materialized in any film. If you see my Facebook page you will see that most of the contacts are related to Cinema. This script is a very expensive project and the producers’ response is the lack of money for such a complicated and complex film, although I have had proposals to tell the same thing and transfer it to a documentary. The extended synopsis is as follows:

THE ENIGMA NOSTROMO

Someone cut the brake fluid tube on Victor’s car,
In a frantic race, his car plunges into a ravine.
Victor emerges unharmed from the accident.
Seconds before falling, he believes he sees and feels two bullet impacts on his windshield. As a result of a sudden turn, his car destabilizes, causing it to descend to the bottom of the ravine.
Víctor is an accredited journalist in a multinational information company.
After the accident. When Víctor arrives at the newspaper’s office, he finds an anonymous courier envelope.
Inside there is a security key with a plastic label where you can read: CPT
“Door 51 INSTITUTE OF PSYCHOBIOPHYSICAL TECHNOLOGY”
Who wants Victor to have that key? What guard or custody?
What is the INSTITUTE OF PSYCHOBIOPHYSICAL TECHNOLOGY?
From the beginning, Víctor believes that his accident is related to the key, and together with a young intern from the newspaper, they begin an exhaustive investigation.
Investigation that leads Víctor to enter a dark world full of intrigue, where every minute he spends his life is in danger.
Ignacio, Víctor’s young partner, is dedicated to journalistic investigation of paranormal cases.
At first Víctor gives little credibility to Ignacio’s work,
but little by little Víctor feels attracted to the enigmatic world of Ignacio. He clearly sees that he himself is part of a macabre game where he is a key player in the resolution of a great enigma.
Together with Ignacio, he collaborates in the investigation Jorge Vázquez,
a former police officer and detective who selflessly helps Victor.
The INSTITUTE OF PSYCHOBIOPHYSICAL TECHNOLOGY is directed by Dr. Manuel Fernández.
Although it is not officially registered, this Institute belongs to the Army, a special department of the Ministry of Defense where, in collaboration with another North American department dependent on the CIA and the Pentagon, they carry out top secret military research.
Dr. Manuel Fernández is a psychiatrist, former Air Force commander with studies at the Tavistock Institute in London.
After a few years as a researcher in the US in a department of the Pentagon and the CIA, he returned to Spain and founded his INSTITUTE OF PSYCHOBIOPHYSICS in Catalonia. Víctor finds a case parallel to his own of another journalist who died under strange circumstances when he also investigates the work of Dr. Fernández.
This journalist suspected Dr. Fernández’s relationship with bacteriological weapons for chemical warfare and their secret application to part of the Spanish civilian population.
Víctor passes him reports from another investigator and journalist about an event that apparently could also be related to his suspicions.
This new investigation is whether Dr. Fernandez brought a “strain” from the US and whether this “strain” was related to Toxic Rapeseed Oil Syndrome.

The following writing awakens Victor’s curiosity:
“While science at three months already knew that it could not be rapeseed oil, the government accused and imprisoned the rapeseed oil manufacturers. While science at eight months already knew how to cure those affected, the Government Power He hid the possibility of their cure from more than sixty thousand patients.
Silence pact…?
In the spring of 1981, more than 60,000 Spaniards were poisoned.
More than seven hundred of them died.
Since then and until today, the PP and PSOE governments have focused their efforts on preventing the real criminal from coming to light.
Thus, a dark assembly of the different sectors of Power and the intelligence services was reached, to form the (pact of silence) that would prevent it from being known that here a new chemical combination was applied to human beings, applicable in the future to a possible chemical war” (*).
Víctor researches at the Institute of Psychobiophysics,
He meets Dr. Fernández and the enigma of the key is just beginning. The key belongs to room 51 and there is a CNI (National Intelligence Center) agent with a strange mental illness. Some self-referential delusions, a paranoia of indecipherable origin together with strange hypnagogic and kinesthetic hallucinations
Dr. Fernández says he has in this patient a gem for clinical research.
Víctor investigates the background of this peculiar patient of Dr. Fernández and what he finds accelerates the imminent danger to which he has been subjected since the key came into his possession. It’s a covert kidnapping.
The patient manages to get Victor to contact a British M16 agent, who shows him the way to follow to discover the “Nostromo Diary” written by him.
The strange bacteriological “strain” that Dr. Fernández has is of “non-human” origin and the kidnapped patient has all the documents and information that prove it.
The British agent suffers an accident and Victor’s suspicions increase.
In the patient’s apartment, Victor finds a USB flash drive with recorded data that shows what the Pentagon and the CIA are hiding.
and its relationship with the project that these Dark Forces have for humanity.
For decades entities of non-terrestrial origin coexist on Earth and secretly cooperate with governments of different countries.
According to the investigations contained in Dr. Fernández’s patient. These entities coexist and move peacefully among the population of our cities. Although the purpose of their interests is unknown, everything suggests that they are not of benefit to the human population.
A power in the shadows that controls the future of humanity at will. “They” finance Dr. Fernández’s work. Víctor finds himself immersed in a spider web from which he will no longer be able to escape.

11.- I am going to confess that the figure and role of your uncle, Manuel Sanz, has me absolutely in love. In it, the images of the spy and the Andalusian picaresque are perfectly combined and it is a fascinating mix. What was the relationship of SECED and CESID (former CNI) with the UFO phenomenon according to your experience and that of your uncle? Please answer clearly

Yes, I want to be clear on this. My uncle’s information work that he carried out for the secret services in those years was simply to collect information on certain behaviors and observations of UFO witnesses. There was a special interest in the government of the 1950s and 1960s in those “crazies” who claimed to see objects in the sky, an interest in getting to know in depth the characters who had supposedly witnessed something abnormal. I don’t know the reason for this interest, although I suppose it’s to have everything under control. That’s why my uncle, given the interest he had in the UFO topic, was interested in doing it in a rigorous way, with long questionnaires to be filled out by witnesses and long talks in local bars to get as much information as possible. Although he had a lot of information that he also shared with friends, he was always faithful to what the witness told, which was almost always related to rural areas and agriculture since he supplied the tires for the tractors. He never wanted to be the protagonist despite his extensive knowledge in field research.

Newspaper about events “Por Qué” July 28, 1972

12.- We are going to enter the case of “the suicides of Terrasa”. In this case, not only do you know much more than what we have been able to read, but you also have your own theory and I sense that it is also a lot, which until now you are silent about. I hope now is the time to tell it. What exactly was your relationship with the researchers who took their lives in Terrassa?

My relationship or friendship with Joan Turu Vallés dates back to the beginning of the seventies, both of us with the same ufological concerns exchanged correspondence and we were both members of the Barcelona Interplanetary Studies Center. What happened that fateful night in 1972 is a topic that still makes me very sad today. Much has been written about what happened and exposing it here does not make much sense. Good researchers have already done commendable work that is available to those interested on the Internet. I am referring to the research of Josep Guijarro and Manuel Carballal. I can have my opinion about what happened but exposing it would not add anything new to what has already been investigated. I prefer to remember Joan Turu with that youthful drive to investigate and that desire for knowledge about the unknown. A joint investigation into some observations in Conca de Tivissa (Tarragona) gave rise to a small dossier about a contact with a being of unknown origin. The witness of that contact José Félix Rodríguez Montero, summoned to that place in Tivissa for an alleged contact with an extraterrestrial being, proposed at the request of the contactee Pascual Vázquez Arracó. This contact with the unknown being produces an alteration in the perception of reality that disrupts the identity of the contactee and the researcher, precipitating them on a “journey of no return.” Questions, all you want and more. Why was the cotton found not given importance? How is it possible that the suicide note remains intact on the lifeless body after being hit by the train? Who were the two people who accompanied José Félix and Joan to Marius Lleget’s conference in Sabadell? Who was bothered by José Félix’s contacts?

Article by Josep Guijarro for Enigma magazine September 26, 2012

13.- You can’t leave us like this, intrigued. Are you suggesting that José Félix’s contacts were real and that they made someone so uncomfortable that they decided to get them out of the way?

I can’t tell if his contact was real or not. What I can say is that we know very little about the subject of those contacted. Not because it has not had an impact in the press and specialized media. The cases of contactees of which we all have references are quite conditioned by other interests that have nothing to do with Ufology. That this phenomenon of contact exists and is real, I have no doubt of that, another thing is what or who causes it and I am sure that it goes beyond self-suggestion on the part of the witness. Just delve into Deep Prasad’s research on Runiversic and discover the anomalies experienced by people who have these contacts with other entities. (I am not referring to the known and repeatedly exposed cases in Ufology books) I am referring to contacts with entities analyzed and studied at a more academic and profound level like the one led by Deep. Runiversic is based on the belief that all Realities are equally real. If you are in the dream world, it is as real as the waking world, the DMT world, NDEs, etc. Which implies that all these realities deserve study. Therefore, Runiversic is “The study of all realities.” If it is assumed that everything real is what we measure. And that any reality we measure is as real as any other reality. This means that if someone sees a character in a dream while sleeping, that character should be considered as real as you or me. Many of those contacted are slow to come to terms with what happened. Others are predisposed to accept a reality that only they are able to interfere or interact with the manifested entity. José Felix saw a physical being come out of nowhere just as Joan Turú also saw it. The question remains and that is who it bothered. But that is another business. A similar case occurred on April 2, 1978, Juan José Gómez Vargas and Francisco Saureu Prim decided to reproduce Terrassa’s suicide and coincidentally it is also related to Tivissa and also to a terrible investigation, both forensic and police.

The double suicide in the news newspapers
What is curiously recorded is the disappearance of the CEI from the Tivissa file during Christmas 1972, six months after the tragic Terrassa case. Chance?
More eloquent, if possible, is the ufologist Enrique Campos who, in a long letter addressed to the founder of the CEI Antonio Pelegrí, warns him: “Some extremely interesting information has reached me (…) if I manage to verify everything, you are in great danger.” , as a group and as researchers…”. Article by Josep Guijarro for Enigma magazine September 26, 2012
“We are few — concludes the report
by the Sevillian ufologist José Antonio Galán -, if they eliminate us, ufology collapses and, with it, the only possibility for the world to realize what is happening around it, behind the scenes…”.
- — and, along the same lines, there was Galán, who tried to reconstruct the tragic event.
As I read in his report for ADIASA, two or three weeks before the “suicide”, José Félix Rodríguez called Enrique López Guerrero, the controversial priest of Mairena, author of the book Looking at the Distance of the Universe, where he delves into the thorny UMMO affair. Article by Josep Guijarro for Enigma magazine September 26, 2012

14.- In a magnificent interview that David Cuevas conducted with you not long ago for his podcast Dimensión Límite, you talk about an envelope that you still have, which contained a message from your uncle and in which he told you that after reading it, you should destroy it and That’s how you did it. Logically it had to be a very confidential message for me to ask you this. After so many years since your uncle’s death, can you now reveal that content? Or at least tell me only if it alerted you to the existence of “very dangerous people” related to UFO research?

My uncle in that letter, well, some good advice, some behavioral guidelines regarding Ufology that I had already seen in him in his last years and yes, alerting me to how dangerous it can be to become obsessed with an investigation and among other things to take your life as something valuable but taking into account (something I have also heard Benítez say) that we have to fulfill a “Contract” the rest can be a Chimera.

15.- For decades it has been believed that some UFO photos that were included in the Tarrasa dossier were made by them, but you made them. How? Because?.

The four photos included in the “Terrassa Dossier” were included by mistake, as well as some other documents unrelated to this event. The photographs in which you can see a flying object are actually a Seat 1500 hubcap thrown into the air on a small esplanade in front of the Cartuja Island in the Guadalquivir River in Seville. This was intended to serve as a sample for witnesses of alleged UFO observations and whether or not there was a similarity to what was observed. “Have you seen anything like this?” A friendly way to start a very subtle interrogation without the witness being influenced by what was observed since what can be seen in the photographs was a tiny flattened oval. The four photos were taken after several launches with a Werlisa color C series, I also have an S8 video from that day.

One of the four photos taken with the Werlisa Color c series. A senior North American official based at the San Pablo “Garden City Santa Clara” base financed Manuel Sanz Tortosa, researcher and collaborator of the Central Documentation Service (SECED) to investigate, manipulate and fabricate cases of UFO observation throughout the province of Andalusia. They nicknamed him “The American” in hundreds of prefabricated cases to shock the population, they even presented Enrique López Guerrero with two soldiers from the American base of Swedish descent presenting themselves and posing as extraterrestrials.

16.- Do you know who stole the CEI files on this case?

Yes, in the eighties, during a friendly chat in an art gallery in Sabadell, I proposed to Albert Adell (friend and painter) to recover the joint research on the first contact of José Félix Rodríguez in the Conca de Tivissa. It was not stolen, simply returned to one of its authors, as no attention was paid to said investigation, it was withdrawn. The “Tivissa Case” by Julio Roca Muntañola should not be confused with the investigation into the case of Jose Félix Rodríguez Montero’s contact in Tivissa carried out by Joan Turu Vallés. In the CEI, observations of supposed contacts with extraterrestrials were not well regarded, and even less so if they had any message.

17-You were active in the CEI for many years. How was the transition from the management of Casas Huguet to that of Pedro Redón?

During my time in the CEI, Josep María Casas Huguet was the president and Pedro Redón the secretary, I did not experience that transition from one to the other. And it wasn’t that many years as a correspondent either.

18.- December 29, 1976. Between 1:30 and 2:30 in the morning. Talavera de la Reina (Toledo). Several sightings of a UFO.
The best testimony of this sighting is collected from a witness a year after it occurred and takes place at the Talavera military site. The alarm siren sounds, the dogs begin to bark and howl, the lights go out, an auxiliary generator begins to work, and at that moment it also stops working and they are left in darkness again, but the witness had already seen a glow unusual and the whistling sound of an engine starting up. And when a patrol goes out to investigate what is happening, they witness a great glow… What happened there? A UFO flying over a military zone for fifteen or twenty minutes?

This is a case of UFO observation very well exposed in STENDEK Vol. 08 №29 September 1977 by Antonio Rodríguez Santamaría and Pedro Redón. It’s a pretty interesting case. But even more interesting in my opinion (I have been able to speak with the witness personally) is the meeting of Jesús Jofre Milà in the Air Surveillance Squadron 4 (EVA-4). This is how I tell it in my blog: “At 10:30 p.m. on March 25, 1971, Jesús Jofre, along with two soldiers from his battalion, saw a greenish light. When this light disappeared, they began to hear footsteps approaching along the same path as the dogs indicate with barking. A few seconds later they watched with horror as a strange being more than two meters tall approached them. As they tried to stop the humanoid, their nerves took over. The strange being ignored the stop sign and The soldiers decide to shoot, without being able to make the strange being stop. Thanks to the glare of the shots, Jesús Jofre could see that he was wearing a belt with an inverted triangle.
After verifying that the bullets did not cause any damage to the strange creature, they watched as it walked away. Shortly after, from the base’s radars they could see an unidentified flying object moving away from where they were.
The incident is still considered a “reserved matter” by the Spanish Ministry of Defense. And there are several more cases like this that have not come to light. What I do know is that the Pentagon is aware of them. I am referring to the cases that occurred in the Spanish Bases.

19.- May 11, 1970 at 3 in the morning. The landing of a UFO in Morón de la Frontera leaves traces on the ground. What exactly did it consist of? Were samples and footprints collected on the land? You were there. What conclusion did you reach?

That day was special, I was able to see with my eyes the mark that an unidentified object leaves on the ground after landing and then disappearing, pick up the nettles among the sunflowers with my hands and try not to damage them to send them to the American Base for study. My conclusion about this case is simply that a UFO landed and that the owner of the property, the Civil Guard agents, the Americans at the Base and all of us who saw the footprints could not determine that day what landed on. on the ground, later speaking with witnesses they confirmed in great detail what they could see in the place before the object landed.

21.- Let’s go with Pascual Vázquez Arracó, whom many consider the first Spanish contactee.
What was your relationship with him? Luis José Grifol stated that thanks to his telephone instructions he himself was able to see “those from above” levitating and looking like crystals in the Campo de Can Massana. What really catches my attention is that Vázquez Arracó and Grifol were contacted in the same way, mentally, by these beings who gave them data and instructions to show them that they were real. Vázquez Arracó made many predictions, especially in the 1980s, and they were all catastrophic. Fortunately, it seems that not a single one has come true… but you maintain that when he gave data on UFO sightings, they were fulfilled mathematically, even though the personal contact notice with one of these beings that he gave to you, it did not occur. What explanation do you give for this? Did you witness any of these experiences?

My relationship with Pascual Vázquez Arracó dates back to a letter that I wrote to Zaragoza, trying and urging him to explain to me how he knew about my observation of a UFO, about which only my wife and a friend who on the radio station knew. Radio Esparraguera carried out a UFO alert. Furthermore, as Pascual Vázquez Arracó knew that at the time of my UFO observation I was working on a portrait of King Juan Carlos, something that only my wife and Sabino Fernández Campos knew and absolutely no one else. The letter that Pascual Vázquez Arracó demands explanations from my friend in Esparreguera, giving my data and my UFO observation, even today when I remember it, it gives me chills.

Letter from Pascual Vázquez Arracó to Radio Esparreguera.

22.- I don’t understand, how did you know that he knew about this sighting and your relationship with the King? And what did he answer you? Because he knew it?

In the letter that Pascual Vázquez Arracó sent to the director of the Radio Esparreguera program, among other things he told him that he was very upset because he had not been notified of the observations that had occurred after his predictions. To show him that he knew that they had seen a UFO, he gave me as an example, giving those details of my work with the portrait of the King.
The full text of that letter is as follows:
“UFO” ALERT PROGRAMMED BY A RADIO IN ESPARREGUERA
Dr.D. FERNANDO BERLOTIN
Barbera Avenue, xxxxxxxxx
SABADELL
Yours sincerely, you are greeted.
-What about the following:
The manifestations of the various observation points, especially next month at Monserrat Mountain, which certified the observations of all of them.
The various photographs that were obtained from when it was happening, and that he promised to send them to me, I said that I would pay for them, as well as the cassettes.
The passage of UFOs through various towns, turning off the
lights.
The girl who saw many things did not want to say her name, it was necessary to locate her and take her to the station, and she expressed her magnificent impressions of what happened.
Televisión Catalana 3, gives several news about the Esparreguera radio programming of the “UFO” alert, which by the way is not known as its title, nor its address. Also connection of several stations in that area to yours.
The expressions of Mr. Rivera and Mr. Grifol, the latter commissioned by KARMA 7 Magazine to report what happened, I suppose.
The interest also on the part of CEI. I guess.
What happened to travelers on the highways near Monserrat Mountain.
The impressive impression received at seven in the morning on August 25, 1985 about the “UFO Alert” programming, and that a friend of yours whom you invited to the broadcast and refused, distrusting your instructions, your friend that he is a painter and, by all accounts, the King’s painter; He locks himself in his office and both his wife and daughter call, desperately, he does not open them and he starts writing what he has seen and informs you by phone, precisely at that time and also precisely the announcement made by my hours Before in the morning something was going to happen and it was that man’s turn. And on the other hand, you were hoping to get a copy of that writing. WHAT HAPPENED? WHAT HAVE YOU SEEN? AND WHAT HAS IMPRESSED YOU? He’s sorry for having said something about me, nothing nice, he can tell him to be calm, that I have more.
The change of broadcast of these paranormal themes from Saturday to Friday. And the locking of the switchboard.
What a mess I have loved that I have not seen anything in the press.
The observation posts see SIX SHIPS, three make a triangle and another three look the size of a soccer ball, I insist that there is a seventh and finally this last one appears (it’s mom).
A radio listener asks me in a joking tone, to put a UFO in the Plaza de Catalunya, what fecal mentalities of earthly garbage there are on this plane of planet Earth. Putting a SHIP of that size with all its C/K/osnico energy power would mean greater destruction to the bombs dropped by humans in the cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, and… goodbye Barcelona City.
I promised and offered the inhabitants of Terrassa and its surroundings to give away some Ships, within the ESTRELLA DE BELEN program and we have fulfilled it. But you have nothing at all.
Mr. Fernando Bertolin, what has happened to this silence? If the manifestation and presence of these DIMENSIONS that has been studied, analyzed and programmed by us and your station, has served us as a point of support, as a lever to move the human mind stuck in this plane of this planet Earth, it is already too late. and things are going to happen by improving communications at a general level, it was granted to you to publish and study it, not to joke and be silenced; What is the reason for the mess that I have loved, if what happened is LAW.
As we have promised, THE STAR OF BETHLEHEM WILL REMAIN IN THAT AREA UNTIL DECEMBER 22, 1985 AT 24 SOLAR HOURS OF YOUR MEASUREMENTS; WE WILL GET UP FROM THE JUICE TABLE. ENOUGH OF ROULETTE. DO NOT MIX, DO NOT MIX.
I notify you of our presence in the area of South America, warning from Canada to Tierra del Fuego and it has been mentioned and fulfilled, but it has not been completed with the participation of the structure of the planet and actions by humans.
Thank you.

Correspondence from Pascual Vázquez Arracó.

23.- José Antonio, in 1997 we discovered the figure of Joan Gilabert through some spectacular photos of UFOs that he sent to Año Cero magazine. Without a doubt the most spectacular made by a contactee in Spain. Given his role as a contactee and for presenting himself as a well-known Catalan painter, who he claimed to be the incarnation of Dalí, what is your opinion?

I have great respect for all fellow painters or artists. Joan Gilabert, his work and his way of being may perhaps cause more than one smile or a hearty laugh. But it is his form of artistic expression. I can’t comment on the photos because I don’t consider myself qualified. I know that Manu was visiting him at his house and about the gift of the painting, but as I say he deserves all the respect, even if he says that he is the reincarnation of Salvador Dalí. Maybe it’s surrealism or MK Ultra experiment. Robert Llimós is also (according to him) contacted and since that meeting he only dedicates his work to extraterrestrial beings, personally I consider both works magnificent.

24.- And the MEO (Organized Skeptic Movement)? What do you think about them?

I think that Ufology in general has earned the existence of skeptical people, to give an example of what happened in the Mexican Congress with the mummified “dolls.” Luckily, Mexico’s scientific community reacted in time. I recommend: Aliens or llama skeletons? In the face of gullible and charlatans, science responds. From the Center for Complexity Sciences, two hours of scientific conversation about extraterrestrial life can be seen at: https://www.youtube.com/live/6u8nn8b-0a8?si=wnOIiB9Ab3R_7GFM and everything that comes from Mexico It doesn’t have to be “unscrupulous charlatans.” The skeptics in Spain, well we have them too. Although in some I tend to perceive a certain “whiff” of resentment or bloody envy towards other ufologists field researchers who have given everything to unravel (at least they try) this complex world of Ufology. And I don’t want to expand on this because when I usually read so many algorithms, so many pseudoscientific rules and so many statistics I burst out laughing, without going into the fact that they are specialists in Balloons, lenticular clouds, meteorites or Venus and all this pseudoscientific quackery is already here. very hackneyed and has that smell, which as I said before really stinks.

25.-You saw the ufology of the sixties and seventies, what difference do you see with the current one?

The ufology of those years has nothing to do with that of now. Each stage has its moment and each moment is special in itself. Neither better nor worse. Now that almost every person on the planet has a camera on their phone, this is when “apparently” UFOs appear less, however, this is when there is more talk about UFOs. Nowadays and with existing technology we can communicate with each other and share cases that were impossible years ago. Recently, forgotten recording tapes of the statements before a Sheriff of the witness of contact with a being from another planet have come to light and all the investigations recorded on tapes by one of the best ufological researchers Wendy Connors with more than 700 audio recordings of hundreds of hours of UFO radio news. In Spain too, and thanks to Manuel Carballal, there has been evidence of the first ufologist, Oscar Rey Brea, despite the fact that some (they are always the same) clamor to highlight the figure of this or that as if it were a competition. Recently listening to the enthusiasm of an aviation commander telling you about his observation or simply seeing the eyes of an old woman as she tells how a sphere of light descends from the sky and lands one meter above the ground in front of her and then disappears upwards in a fraction of a seconds, that is the most rewarding thing about being “curious” or a ufologist.

26.- They leave me a question for you. Manuel Carballal tells me that he is still waiting for you to digitize that super 8 filming that you have of your uncle. When will he be able to see it?

That is one of the pending things I have for this year 2024, I have all the material purchased to adapt it to the projector and later digitize it at 4K, I also have to restore a sculpture of a crucified man and several images. They are things that take time and when you start them you can’t stop. I have a lot of S8 footage that I want to recover, a while ago the S8 camera was another extension of my arm.

27.- Finally. I know that you have declared that UFOs exist, that they are real. But I don’t know if you literally mean “unidentified flying objects” or if you claim that we are being visited by beings or ships that are not from this planet. I clarify that by “ships” I mean that they could be ships manned by robots that could have been given the appearance of humanoids, something that today would no longer be very difficult given the advances in both robotics and implantation. in them from Ai.

Let me start my answer with a quote that I like:
The girl Elizabeth asks her archaeologist father
Little girl-
And where are they going?
The father answers
-Each one calls him in his own way.
Heaven… Paradise, whatever it is called, it is a beautiful place.
Little girl-
How do you know it’s beautiful?
Father-
Because that’s how I have decided to believe it, what do you believe?
Change of shot and the figure of an undefined being is observed.
Damon Lindelof screenwriter of Prometheus (Ridley Scott)

Yes, UFOs exist, the overwhelming evidence from witnesses confirms it. That perhaps there is no defined image that confirms it, well yes, it is true that there are very few and those that exist raise suspicions of fraud.
Personally I am “Almost” one hundred percent of what Jacques Vallée claims. — “I think we use the question too much: Do you believe in UFOs? In science there is no belief. There is a UFO phenomenon. There are millions of people who have reported consistent sightings of objects in the sky, for which there is no explanation. So it’s not a question of belief. These reports are there. The question is: What hypothesis can I, as a professional scientist, make testable? Everyone can throw hypotheses. In science we throw a hypothesis and a method to test the hypothesis”.

And now an example of that “Almost” with which I also identify.
Dr. Garry P. Nolan of the Department of Pathology at Stanford University School of Medicine.
In statements made at SALT i Connection 2023 — a conference that brings together investors, entrepreneurs and policy makers — Nolan stated that he believes that extraterrestrial intelligence has already visited planet Earth. And he gives one more affirmation ‘he affirms that they are still here. Personally I accept the phenomenon as such. I have my doubts about the extraterrestrial origin. To affirm that there is life in the Universe, intelligent or not, we are that confirmation, we inhabit the outskirts of the Galaxy.
Many cases of contact with these intelligences occur suddenly, where the witness sees a silhouette appear out of nowhere. Another optical or sensory plane different from ours? A reality parallel to ours?
Exploration Artificial Intelligence?

28.- And if we curl the loop a little more and get ideas from a science fiction story in installments that you are writing on your blog, and given that we are at the beginning of what could be the colonization and adaptation of other planets by robots manufactured by ourselves, could it be that the Ai will learn so much in the future that they themselves will make trips to the past and be “our visitors”? I am very struck by the fact that you provide these “colonizing robots” with space clothing and humanoid appearance… hence this question.
We know that many science fiction stories that we read today have been futuristic visions… I’ll leave it there for you.

Once again I want to refer to a quote from the film Prometheus
Archaeologist Charlie Holloway tells the android David. This one is putting on the airtight exploration suit to go out to the surface of the planet.
Charlie
David, why are you wearing the suit?
David
I don’t understand you.
Charlie
You don’t breathe, you remember. Why the suit?
David
I was designed this way because humans feel more comfortable interacting with their own. If I didn’t wear a suit I wouldn’t achieve my goal.
Charlie
They make them very similar to us!
David
Not too much, I hope.

We would be back in the debate about time travel or the opening of dimensional portals and robotic explorers. That would be a logical way to explore the unknown, adapt and equip that with human-like explorers.
My story “EUROPA chapter 1” is inspired by the research of Ms. Beatriz Villarroel and the “Basque Project” whose objective is the search for extraterrestrial phenomena and intelligence. Sources that appear and disappear during a century of observations, and he hopes to find new phenomena and extraterrestrial intelligence. My story is situated partly on the current Earth and partly in the future, with a newspaper clipping from The Globe and Mail, March 19, 2027, writing about a colonizing trip to Europe, the sixth satellite of Jupiter. And to top it all off I propose to the reader in this “Fictional story to pass some time”. A search game where a character appears, “Ahndrexiss” (Remembering the contact proposal of Pascual Vázquez Arracó) The key to everything is not written, it is in audio… I’ll leave it there for you.
